Position Opening - Special Collections Librarian, La Salle University

The Connelly Library of La Salle University invites applications for the position of Special Collections Librarian.

The Librarian, Special Collections provides vision, leadership, advocacy, and interpretation for the Connelly Library’s special collections. The Librarian, Special Collections, shapes and builds the collections by strategically acquiring both primary and secondary source materials. This position provides educational, programmatic, and promotional outreach to faculty, graduate and undergraduate students, visiting scholars, and others whose research, teaching, communications, and learning activities benefit from engagement with the Special Collections of Connelly Library. The Librarian, Special Collections is responsible for the development and implementation of Special Collections policies and procedures in accordance with identified standards and best practices in consultation with the Associate Dean.
