If your library has not begun a Rapid demo, or has not yet joined, don't worry! Your decision to participate in the Rapid PALCI pod can be made after your borrowing demonstration period. You can join the pod anytime in the future. In fairness to the pod participants, beginning October 15th, 2007, all Rapid PALCI borrowing only demos will be limited to 10 working days. After 10 working days, the demo library will be turned off until they are also lending or until a decision regarding participation has been made.
If you are ready to join RapidILL, simply send an email message to:
Rapidstaff@RapidILL.org
RAPID will forward your information to Dan Iddings and John Barnett at the
PALCI office and they will handle all of the invoicing.
Below is a downloadable copy of the questionnaire that libraries must complete before a demo can be arranged.
